Planning a wedding is huge. Most couples spend a year planning out every detail of their big day. For most of us, this is the biggest event we’ll ever plan. There are so many things you wish someone would have told you. Thankfully you have us, two little wedding photographers from Columbus, Ohio are here to tell you to love and respect your vendors!
These are the people you choose to be a part of one of the most important days of your life. There’s one little thing that some couples don’t think about and that’s feeding their vendors. Guys, we work our little booties off all day to make sure your wedding day runs smoothly and that your pictures are absolutely gorgeous. By the time dinner is served, we are HANGRY. We need fuel! Please respect your vendors dietary needs and make sure your venue has a meal planned for them. Also, make sure your venue understands how important it is that we eat when you eat. Why? Well, one reason is because you don’t want us taking pictures of you when you’re eating, but the main reason we eat when you eat is so we don’t miss anything. If we get served last, we’re going to be eating while your cutting your cake. Don’t worry, that would never happen, we just wouldn’t eat and we’d starve the rest of the evening all before passing out on the way to our car. Ok, we’re being a little dramatic, but you get the idea.
There is nothing worse than having to track down the coordinator and bother them to request a meal. They’re just as busy as we are making sure your event is spectacular. We don’t like to make them angry just because we’re hangry.
Remember this one little tip and your vendors will love you forever!
